Disco Dessert 7/22/21 - "Damaged Goods" by Gang of Four...

 

 

"Damaged Goods" was a club hit for the English new wave group Gang of Four. Appearing on their debut album Entertainment!, the song was written and produced by bandmates Jon King, Andy Gill, Dave Allen, and Hugo Burnham. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-100 chart, the album was listed as a single entry, with "Damaged Goods" and "I Found That Essence Rare" listed as key cuts. The record peaked at #39 there in 1980.
