Disco Dessert 7/15/21 - "Children Of The Revolution" by Baby Ford...

"Children Of The Revolution" was a club hit for British acid house pioneer Peter "Baby" Ford. Appearing on his second album Ooo...The World Of Baby Ford, the song was a remake of the 1972 glam rock classic from British band T. Rex written by its leader Marc Bolan, and produced by Baby Ford with Mark McGurie. On Billboard magazine's Hot Dance Club Play chart, "Children Of The Revolution" was listed along with the "B-side" of the American single, "Oochy Koochy". It peaked at #10 in 1989, while "Children Of The Revolution" stopped at #53 on the British chart as did "Oochy Koochy" at #58.
