"When The Rain Begins To Fall" was a club hit for singer/actress Pia Zadora and Jermaine Jackson. Appearing on the soundtrack to her movie Voyage Of The Rock Aliens as well as Jermaine's self-titled album in 1984, the song was written by Steve Wittmack along with Peggy March (of "I Will Follow Him" hit fame) and Michael Bradley (80s revival replacement singer for 60s band Paul Revere and the Raiders). On Billboard magazine's Hot Dance/Disco Club Play chart, the single peaked at #22 in 1985. It also climbed to #54 on the pop chart and #61 at R&B, while being a #1 hit in France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
