"Don't Stop The Music" was a club and radio hit for the R&B duo (Cavin) Yarbrough & (Alisa) Peoples. Appearing on their album The Two Of Us, the song was written by the pair along with producer Jonah Ellis. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top 100 chart, the single peaked at #26 in 1981, while topping their R&B chart and rising to #19 on the pop Hot 100. After the success of the song, the couple married, and remain together today even though they retired from actively recording.
