"Carry On" was a club hit for dance music icon Martha Wash. Appearing on her first solo album Martha Wash, the song was written by Eric Beall, who produced the track with Steve Skinner. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single spent a week at #1 in 1992. It also reached #97 on the R&B chart as well.
