Dance Sweep: January 9, 2016...

It's time to wrap up this week's 'music sweeps', checking out the songs making the charts in Billboard magazine. I'll close things out with the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...

On their DJ-polled Dance Club Play chart, Justin Bieber climbs to #1 for the second time in a row with "Sorry" (seriously, what club is playing this, and how much is Scooter paying for this?)...

There's only two newbies on this quiet chart, with Tori Kelly landing at #46 with "Hollow", and there's not even an audio clip for it. Blech...

Diplo and Sleepy Tom sneak in at #50 with "Be Right There", which samples the 90's Jade hit "Don't Walk Away". The track, my "Dance Pick of the Week", has already made the top ten on the airplay chart...

Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart, Justin's "Sorry" holds at #1 for a second week...

..while the only debut at #39 is....Just effin Bieber again with "Love Yourself"...

That's it for tonight. Thanks for taking the trip! Cheers, 2sc
