"Endless Nights" - Eddie Money
from the album Can't Hold Back (1986)
Billboard Hot 100 peak: #21 (one week)
Weeks in the Top-40: 7
Today's SOTD comes from New York rock singer Eddie Money, whose Can't Hold Back album had scored him his first top-10 pop hit with "Take Me Home Tonight" as well as a top-20 follow-up with "I Wanna Go Back". The third single from the record, the midtempo nostalgia of "Endless Nights", was written by John Cesario, Michelle Collyer, and Steve Mullen...
"Endless Nights" became Eddie's third top-40 hit from Can't Hold Back in June of 1987, while scaling to #10 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock radio chart. The single nicked the Canadian list at #76.
