Aussie Sweep: June 4, 2015...


It's time to head Down Under to check out the songs making their debut on the official singles chart in Australia this week, as Taylor Swift collects her fourth #1 hit with "Bad Blood". Three of them are from her current album 1989...

Australia was invited to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time this year, as the country has been a long-time supporter of the European-centric show. They didn't let them down, with one of the best performances of the night, by "ringer" Guy Sebastian, winner of the first Australian Idol and judge on 
that country's X Factor. Guy placed a very respectable 5th place (and probably deserved higher), and enters the singles chart here at #12. It makes it his 21st top-40 hit in this country...
