Dance Sweep: January 24, 2015...


I'm ready to wrap up today's "chart sweeps", sampling the songs making their way on to the various singles charts in Billboard magazine, with the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio.

On the DJ-polled Dance Club Play chart, British group Gorgon City land their first American #1 hit with "Go All Night" featuring Jennifer Hudson...

The top debut up at #32 is the "queen of the clubs", Madonna, with her latest, "Living For Love", my "Dance Pick of the Week". She's topped the dance chart 43 times, more than anybody else..

New Jersey native Bea Miller, a former finalist on the X Factor USA (which she finished ninth to Tate Stevens), lands at #39 with "Young Blood"...



British indie-pop duo the Ting Tings return at #41 with "Wrong Club". They topped the club chart twice so far with "Shut Up And Let Me Go" and "Hands"...


Jenevieve X comes in at #45 with "Move", her first hit...


Another newcomer, Breanna Rubio, hooks up with rapper Fat Joe at #46 with "Fly Alone"...


Pitbull and Ne-Yo collab for the song at #47, the top-40 pop hit "Time of Our Lives"...


Sariah claims her third hit at #48 with "Aware Alive Awake". She took "Deep N Luv" previously to #19 back in 2010...


Aneesh Gera and Lisa Williams pair up at #49 for "Flashback Rewind"...


The final debut on the club chart at #50 is "All I Feel Is You" from Polish-born actress/singer Natalia Safran...


Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart, Ariana Grande and The Weeknd remain on top for a second week with "Love Me Harder"...

Film score composer James Newton Howard and actress Jennifer Lawrence leap on to the chart at #22 with "The Hanging Tree" from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, which Lawrence stars in...


 Bachata royalty Prince Royce pulls in at #34 with "Stuck On A Feeling"...


British DJ and producer Gareth Emery climbs in at #37 with "Dynamite" featuring singer Christina Novelli...


The final new entry at #39 is "Pyramids" from Canadian duo DVBBS and Dropgun featuring Sanjin...
