The weekend is almost to a close, and it's time to check out the songs making their debut on the official singles chart in Britain this week, as Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars spend a fifth non-consecutive week at #1 with "Uptown Funk!"...

The top debut of the week at #16 comes from Swedish DJ and producer Avicii with "The Nights". It's the second single from his upcoming The Stories album. The first, "The Days", only made it to #82 in this country. The vocals on this song are from songwriter "RAS" Furlong...

American rapper Kid Ink jumps in at #43 with "Hotel" featuring Chris Brown. It's the first single from his upcoming Full Speed album. Last year he climbed to #23 with "Show Me" (again with Brown)...


Alt-pop singer/songwriter Rae Morris, from the city of Blackpool, debuts at #53 with her first charting single "Under The Shadows", my "Brit Pick of the Week"...


Fall Out Boy land at #71 with "Uma Thurman", the third song from their upcoming American Beauty/American Psycho album coming out this coming week. Another one from the set is coming up...


The second single from former Oasis man Noel Gallagher's Flying Birds' Chasing Yesterday album, "Ballad Of The Mighty I", flies in at #75. The first, "In The Heat Of The Moment", peaked at #26...


American pop/punk band All Time Low move in at #84 with "Something's Gotta Give". Their last hit, "A Love Like War", went to #56...


The other Fall Out Boy debut, the American Beauty/American Psycho title track, comes in at #89. The radio single, "Centuries", went to #22 in this country...


Rapper Big Sean's American #1 R&B hit, "I Don't Fuck With You" featuring E-40, enters the top 100 here at #97...


The final debut of the week at #98 comes from rave veterans Prodigy with "Nasty". It's from their first studio album in six years, The Day Is My Enemy. Back in the day the group scored eleven top-ten hits, with back-to-back #1s on "Firestarter" and "Breathe"...
