Aussie Sweep: June 26, 2013....
Hey gang - it's time to go Down Under to check out the new songs reaching the charts in Australia this week, as Robin Thicke checks in to the top spot for a seventh week with "Blurred Lines"...
The Australian version of The Voice ended on June 17th, and while the final bunch of performances are coming up, the big winners (of course) are the coaches, as two of the Voice mentors debut inside the top-10, boosted by their performances on the finals. First up at #3 is Ricky Martin, with his new single "Come With Me". It's his first top-10 hit since 2001's "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely"; he's topped the charts here with "Maria" in 1995 and "La Copa De la Vida (The Cup Of Life)" in 1998...

Meanwhile, Voice mentor Delta Goodrem enters at #7 with "Heart Hypnotic". She's had eight #1 hits here, with another six reaching the top-10. If you don't know Delta, think "Aussie Celine Dion"....
The winner of The Voice, Harrison Craig (from Seal's team), sees his "winner's song" come in at #15. It's the original "Unconditional". (Last year's winner, Karise Eden, went to #5 with her winners song "You Won't Let Me")..
...OneRepublic, who performed on the finals (like they did on the American version), arrive at #16 with "Counting Stars". They topped the chart here in 2007 with "Apologize"..
Swedish DJ/producer Avicii comes in at #42 with "Wake Me Up", featuring fave of mine Aloe Blacc. It follows his top-5 hit "I Could Be The One"...
The first solo single from LMFAO's Redfoo, "I'll Award You With My Body", debuts at #58....
Dancehall artist Sean Paul is back at #60 with "Other Side Of Love"...
Surf rocker Jack Johnson is in at #64 with "I Got You" from his upcoming album...
Naughty Boy and Sam Smith take their #1 UK hit "La La La" on to the Aussie charts at #69...
John Newman, who sang on Rudimental's top-40 hits "Feel This Love" and "Not Giving In", scores a hit of his own at #81 with "Love Me Again"...
The final entry, at #95 is all four finalist from The Voice - Celia Pavey, Harrison Craig, Luke Kennedy, and Danny Ross, with their performance of one of the biggest hits ever in this country "You're The Voice". The John Farnham original topped the charts for seven weeks in 1986...
That's it for tonight....I'll be back tomorrow with another Song of the Day, 7 of the 70s, and 8 of the 80s....Cheers!
