twostepcub's music chart for April 19, 2013...

Hey gang, it's that time again----the end of the work week and my top-100 tunes from last week. (Click below to see the rest of the post)

The big entry of the week at #64 is country rocker Jason Aldean with his throwback track "1994". Now, I do have issue with this, solely because Aldean explicity said if there were a video for this song that the name-checked Joe Diffie would be in it. Alas, no Joe to be found. Not cool, Jason! Fix it! Especially since everybody else is on it.

British neo-progressive rock kings Muse are back with the followup to "Madness" which went to #1 on my chart. "Panic Station" shivers in at #79...

Ex-Disney girl and X Factor judge Demi Lovato returns at #92 with "Heart Attack". Her "Give Your Heart A Break" made my top-100 of last year. Who'd have known that she's be the loser in the "who's crazier" game on that show, but with a ringer like Britney, she didn't have a chance...

Newcomers The Mowgli's score their first hit on my chart with the extra-fun and lovable "San Francisco" at #96...

Well warmer weather must be coming soon, since the first "summer" song is upon us, this time with "accidental racist" Brad Paisley's "Beat This Summer" at #97. It follows "Southern Comfort Zone" which went top-20 on my chart earlier this year...

Canadian hard-rockers Three Days Grace fill the Nickelbackless void at #99 with "The High Road", which succeeds their top-20 hit on my chart "Chalk Outline"...

The final debut of the week is a throwback actually to 1994, as British TV presenters/sometime singers Ant & Dec, recording as PJ & Duncan, come in at #100 with their single "Let's Get Ready To Rhumble", which after going top-10 in 1994, came back as a charity single and topped the chart this month in the UK...

That does it for my chart for the week...I'll be back tomorrow with another Song of the Day and my five-part "Chart Sweeps" of the newest songs to make the charts in Billboard magazine. Thanks for stopping by!
