Country Sweep: April 27, 2013...

I'm down to part four of this week's "chart sweeps" with the newest songs reaching the weekly music charts in Billboard magazine, and now it's the latest on country radio.

On the Hot Country Airplay chart, Lady Antebellum claim their lucky seventh #1 hit with "Downtown"...

There are two songs rocketing on the chart in the top-30, and the highest at #24 with "I Want Crazy". It's from his expanded "Encore" edition of his self-titled debut, and it's my "Country Pick of the Week"...

...and leaping in at #28 is ACM Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan with "Crash My Party"...

Even though the Lumineers' folk-rock-country hybrid "Ho Hey" has made the airplay chart, the cover from the show Nashville done by "Lennon & Maisy" comes in at #57...

Newcomer Drake White debuts at #58 with "The Simple Life"...

The last entry on the chart at #60 is American Idol third-placer Casey James with his third hit single, "The Good Life"...

That's it for this country post, I'll be back in 90 with the last sweep with the latest dance songs on the radio and in the clubs. Twang on!
