Today's Song of the Day is the third single from the Purple One's classic album 1999. After his turbo-charged sex romp of "Little Red Corvette" scored Prince a top-10 pop single, and the re-release of the title track went to the top-20, he put out the bouncy "Delirious" as a third single. Off-beat and almost cartoonish, it nonetheless had its charms...



"Delirious" became Prince's second top-10 single, even without an official video, and peaked at #18 on the R&B chart, and was also a top-40 hit in Canada.
