Country Sweep: March 23, 2013...

Welcome back to the fourth part of today's "chart sweeps" tracking the new songs debuting on Billboard magazine's radio singles charts, and this time out it's the latest on country radio.

On the Hot Country Airplay chart, Tim McGraw takes week #3 at #1 with "One Of Those Nights". Seriously I don't think it's one of his stronger songs, I'm surprised it's stayed on top this long, though it's miles ahead of "Truck Yeah" in value...

There are only two new songs on the chart this week, and the first is by singer/hunk Billy Currington, who is at #57 with "Hey Girl". Billy has topped the chart six times, the latest in 2010 with "Let Me Down Easy"...

The other entry at #60 is Kristen Kelly, who follows up her #28 hit "Ex-Old Man" with "He Loves To Make Me Cry", and she's in amazing voice, and it's my country "pick of the week"...

That does it for this short but sweet sweep - I'll finish things off in an hour and a half with the newest dance jams on the radio and in the clubs. ..
