Disco Dessert 4/9/22 - "I Got My Education" by Uncanny Alliance...

 

 

"I Got My Education" was a big club hit for the New York duo Uncanny Alliance. Appearing on their debut and only album The Groove Won't Bite, the song was produced by the act's Orville Brimley Evans, who co-wrote it with David Cole (of C+C Music Factory fame), with vocals from E.V. Mystique. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single spent two weeks at #2 in 1993. It also reached the top-40 on the British Singles chart at #39.
