"Contribution" was a club hit for British R&B singer Mica Paris. Appearing on her album of the same name, the song was written by producers Andres Levin and Camus Celi along with Marga Roman and Michelle Vise, and featured rapper Rakim. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #20 in 1991, while also reaching #39 on their R&B Singles chart and #33 in the UK.
