Disco Dessert 4/1/22 - "Sun Is Shining" by Bob Marley vs Funkstar De Luxe...

 

 

"Sun Is Shining" was a big club and international hit for the late reggae great Bob Marley with Funkstar De Luxe.  Appearing on the album Keep On Moving (It's Too Funky In Here) from the Danish producer Martin Ottesen who uses that moniker, the song is a remix of a single from Marley's 1978 album Kaya that he wrote. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single spent two weeks at #1 in 1999, while peaking at #3 on the British singles chat.
