"Groove Thang" was a club and radio hit for the R&B duo Zhané. Appearing on their debut album Pronounced Jah-Nay, the song was written by member Renée Neufville with the group Naughty By Nature using a sample of Patrice Rushen's "Haven't You Heard". On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #13 in 1994, while reaching #2 on their R&B chart and #17 on the pop Hot 100.
