"Blue Monday" was a club hit for the Los Angeles-based industrial rock band Orgy. Appearing on their debut album Candyass as well as on the soundtrack to the movie I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, the record is a cover of the classic new wave song from New Order from 1983. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single spent two weeks at #2 in 1999, while peaking at #56 on their Hot 100 pop chart.
