"Guajira" was a club hit for Mexican singer Emmanuel. Appearing on his album Emmanuel Presenta, the song was written by Jose Areas, R. Reyes, and David Brown, it was remixed for the dancefloor by Roger Sanchez, and was named for the Cuban style of music this celebrates. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #22 in 2003.
