"What I Did For Love" was a club hit for the New York-based Inner City Jam Band. Released as a stand-alone single, the record is a disco cover of the Broadway classic from the musical A Chorus Line written by Marvin Hamlisch and Edward Kleban, which was produced by Scott Schreer. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the song peaked at #35 in 1978.
