"Philadelphia" was a club hit for the blues icon B.B. King. Appearing on his album Friends, the instrumental was written and produced by Dave Crawford. On Billboard magazine's Disco Action chart, the single peaked at #6 in 1974, while going to #19 on their R&B Singles chart and #64 on the pop Hot 100.
