"Strip This Heart" was a club hit for John Adams, former member of the duo Private Lives. Appearing on his album Strong, the song was written by Adams and produced by Frankie Blue and Les Pearce, and remixed for the clubs by Bruce Forest. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #9 in 1987.
