Disco Dessert 5/23/21 - "Insane" by Dark Monks...

"Insane" was a club hit for the English electronica duo Dark Monks, consisting of James Reynolds and Jan Carbon. Released as a stand-alone single, the song was based on Moby's single "Go", which itself was lifted from Angelo Baldamenti and David Lynch's "Laura Palmer's Theme" from Twin Peaks, and featured vocals from Mim (Miriam Grey). On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #4 in 2002. It also was a minor hit in the UK at #62.
