"Pride" was a club hit for singer/songwriter Rachid (Bell), the son of Ronald Bell of Kool & The Gang. Appearing on his album Prototype, the song was written by Rachid with producers Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken along with Marta Dawson. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #33 in 1998.
