Disco Dessert 12/13/20 - "In The Middle" from Unlimited Touch...

 

 

"In The Middle" was a club hit for the Brooklyn-based soul/disco band Unlimited Touch.  Appearing on their self-titled debut album, the song was written by their keyboardist Galen Underwood and bass player Samuel Anderson with producer Bert Reid. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top 100 chart, "In The Middle" was listed as the 12" single "B-side" along with "I Hear Music In The Streets". The single peaked there at #6 in 1981, spending a hefty 38 weeks on the list.
