Disco Dessert 12/3/20 - "Turn Your Back On Me" from Kajagoogoo...

 

 

"Turn Your Back On Me" was a big club hit for the British new wave group Kajagoogoo. Appearing on their second album Islands (after original lead singer Limahl left), the song was written by the remaining bandmates Nick Beggs, Steve Askew, Jez Strode, and Stuart Neale, and produced by the group with Colin Thurston. On Billboard magazine's Hot Dance/Disco Club Play chart, the single spent two weeks at #2 in 1985 (credited at the time to just "Kaja").
