Disco Dessert 8/29/18 - "High On Mad Mountain" from the Mike Theodore Orchestra...

Mike Theodore, who co-produced Gallery's 70s bubble-gum hit "Nice To Be With You", had a big disco hit in 1977 with three cuts from his Mike Theodore Orchestra's Cosmic Wind album, which spent three weeks at #2 on Billboard's Disco/Dance Singles chart. Two years later, he released his second disco album, High On Mad Mountain; from it "Disco People" went to #8, but it was the title track here that became an underground classic of the genre.
