Soul Sweep: December 26, 2015...

We're at the "hump" of today's "music sweeps", sampling the songs making the charts in Billboard magazine, and this time up I'm serving up the latest on R&B radio...

On the main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart Drake goes into double digits at #1 as "Hotline Bling" reigns for a 10th week, and there are no new entries on the chart...

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B chart,  "Shame" from Tyrese holds on top for an eighth non-consecutive week...

The sole new entry at #28 is Lyfe Jennings with "Always"...

Lastly, on the Rhythmic format, whose stations add more dance-pop music to their playlists, Alessia Cara remains at #1 for a second week with "Here"...

At #34 is Jason Derulo with "Get Ugly", my "Soul Pick of the Week"...

Rapper Yo Gotti drops in at #37 with "Down In The DM"...

Grammy nominee for Best New Artist Tori Kelly enters at #38 with "Hollow". Last time she was here she peaked a notch higher with "Should've Been Us"...

And at #39 is Chris Brown with "Back To Sleep"...

I'll return with the latest on country radio...
 .
