It's time to cross the Atlantic to check out the songs making the official singles chart in the UK this week, as Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself" spends a third week at #1...

As the X Factor UK came to a close, singer Louisa Johnson from Essex won the season, but her "winner's single", a cover of Bob Dylan's "Forever Young", becomes the lowest debut for a winners song at #9. As the show has become sort of a joke, I'm pretty ok with this (as probably Steve Brookstein). And why not? This version is totally unnecessary, especially considering Rod Stewart's bastardized 80s version...

Manchester rockers the 1975 land at #42 with "Ugh". It's the second single from their upcoming album I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It; the first, "Love Me", reached #20. I'm really liking their embrace of dance-rock...


The final newbie in this quiet week at #93 is the Weeknd with "In The Night". With a slick production like his massive "Can't Feel My Face", which shares Michael Jackson comparisons, this new one should follow it into the top 10...
