Dance Sweep: April 18, 2015...


I'm ready to wrap up today's "chart sweeps" checking out the songs making the various charts in Billboard magazine with the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...

On the DJ-polled Dance Club Play chart, Giorgio Moroder and Kylie Minogue (squee!) climb to #1 with "Right Here, Right Now". Moroder last topped the list back in 2000 with a remixed version of his classic "Chase", while Kylie last was on top last year with "Into The Blue"...

British neo-house artist Duke Dumont claims the top new entry at #41 with "The Giver (Reprise)", my "Dance Pick of the Week". His first three singles, "Need U (100%)", "I Got U", and "Won't Look Back", all hit #1...

Remixer Angel Moraes teams up with Neysa Malone at #45 for "Rise Above The Game"...


While Swedish duo Axwell & Ingrosso (formerly of the Swedish House Mafia) drop out of the top-10 with their former #1 "Something New", their "new" one "On My Way" jumps in at #47...

Alt-soul performer The Weeknd takes the other big hit from 50 Shades Of Grey, "Earned It", to this list at #18...


California progressive house duo Mako enter at #26 with "I Won't Let You Walk Away" featuring Madison Beer. They previously made the top-10 on this chart with "Beam"...


Skrillex and Diplo dig up Justin Bieber for the song at #37, "Where Are U Now"...


Chris Brown and Tyga have the last new entry at #50 with "Ayo"...
