The weekend is coming to a close, and it's time to check out the songs making their debut on the just-released official singles chart in Britain this week...

There's a new #1 song in the UK as Jess Glynne from London leads with "Hold My Hand", my "Brit Pick of the Week". It's her first solo #1; she topped the chart as a featured singer on two songs, "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit and "My Love" from Route 94...

Drum and bass act Sigma lands at #12 with "Higher" featuring R&B artist Labrinth.  They had back-to-back #1s with "Nobody To Love" and "Changing" last year...

The brand-spanking new track from Rihanna, "Bitch Better Have My Money", arrives early on the chart at #29. Her more reserved single with Paul McCartney, "FourFiveSeconds", drops a notch to #4....

Rapper KSI drives in at #30 with "Lamborghini" featuring P Money...

Olly Murs just misses the top-40 at #41 with the third single from his Never Been Better album, "Seasons". The first two made the top-5 with "Wrapped Up" reaching #3 last year...

The second track from British modern rock band Muse's upcoming Drones album, "Dead Inside", drops in at #71. The first, "Psycho", made it to #55, but this new one is the first promoted radio single from the project...

American R&B singer Omarion rolls in at #86 with "Post To Be" featuring Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko. "O" went to #14 in the UK in 2006 with "Ice Box"...

 Dutch DJ/producer Kygo dances in at #93 with "Stole The Show" featuring Parson James. His radio hit "Firestone" peaked at #22 in this country...

 As singer/songwriter James Bay's "Hold Back The River" climbs to #2 this week, another of his songs, "If You Ever Want To Be In Love", places the last new entry at #96...
