Country Sweep: May 24, 2014...

Part four of today's "chart sweeps" has the latest country songs on the radio as monitored by Billboard magazine...

On the main Country Airplay chart, Thomas Rhett grabs his second consecutive #1 hit with "Get Me Some Of That". Now with this and "It Goes Like This", he has one more #1 than his dad Rhett Akins, who topped the chart in 1996 with "Don't Get Me Started"...

The top entry at #51 is the duo of Dan + Shay, who follow up their debut hit "19 You + Me" with "Show You Off". Their previous single made it to #11 a few weeks back...

Newcomer John King debuts at #57 with "Tonight Tonight"...

Another new artist, singer David Fanning, has the last new entry at #60 with "Drink You Away". The song, my "Country Pick of the Week",  was co-written by Justin Timberlake...

I'll finish things off in an hour and a half with the newest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...twang on!
