French rapper Booba (the silliest moniker since Nelly) nabs his biggest hit to date as "Parlons Peu" ("Small Talk") debuts at #5. It's his third top-ten hit in his home country...

Lady Gaga arrives at #8 with "Dope", the fourth top ten hit from her ARTPOP album. "Applause" went to #3 earlier this fall...

Parisian rapper Fababy scores his first hit at #28 with "Team BS", a collaboration with the collective La Fouine...


Britney Spears addles in at #34 with "Perfume". It's the follow-up to "Work Bitch", which went to #6 here in September...

The fourth of Justin Bieber's "Music Mondays" singles, "Bad Day", comes in at #54 ...

Rap duo Casseurs Flowters arrive at #57 with "19h26 La Mort Du Disque" ("the Death of the (Compact) Disc"). It's their second single to reach the top 100 together...

French pop singer and actor Florent Pagny has the top-selling album in this country, and the title track from it, "Vieillir Avec Toi" ("Grow Old With You") sells enough on its own to come in at #68..


Hip hop singer Vitaa's former #1 "Game Over" is still in at the runner-up spot this week, while follow-up "Liham" enters at #71. It's my "French Pick of the Week"...

The three-song "EP" Amazon Artist Lounge: Keane Live In London comes in at #82. The British band has had one top 10 here, "Everybody's Changing" in 2005...

Australian dance artist Ry X (Ryan Cuming) debuts at #83 with his first hit "Berlin"...

French pop icon Johnny Hallyday returns at #90 with "Un Jour l'amour Te Trouvera" ("Someday Love Will Find You"). The singer has had 32 top ten hits, with five of them going to #1...

Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's Motown classic "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" from 1967 spends its first week on the French chart at #95 ...
