Song You Should Know About 4/30/15 - Markus Feehily's "Love Is A Drug"...

Today's SYSKA comes from Irish singer Markus Feehily, who was part of one of the biggest international musical acts, Westlife. With the quintet he helped sell close to 12 million albums in the UK, and went to #1 in Britain fourteen times with songs like "Unbreakable", "Fool Again", and "Swear It Again", the latter crossing over to make the American pop top-40 in 2000. Feehily "came out" ten years ago (it seems there's one in every group, right?) at the height of their popularity with no ill results. Westlife called it quits (well, for a second time) in 2010, and five years later, Markus is back with his first solo single, "Love Is A Drug". No, it's not a remake of the Roxy Music classic, but a departure from his "boy-band" days that draws possibly from his failed relationship with singer Kevin McDaid, and his bluesy and powerful vocals put him squarely in the company of John Newman, James Arthur, and Sam Smith...
