Soul Sweep: March 28, 2015...

We're at the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps", sampling the songs making the charts in Billboard magazine, and this time out I'm serving up the latest on R&B radio...

On their main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart, Nicki Minaj spends a second week at #1 with "Truffle Butter"...

Atlanta rap trio Migos have the top new entry at #43 with "One Time" from their upcoming debut album Y.R.N. The Album. They made the top 10 last year with "Fight Night"...

Drake pops in at #48 with "Energy" from his #1 "mixtape" album If You're Reading This You're Too Late. He's also at #11 with "How About Now", presumably from his next studio set...

Rapper Snoop Dogg smokes in at #49 with "Peaches And Cream" featuring former Gap Band singer Charlie Wilson...

Louisiana hip-hop artist Kevin Gates (aka the one who was bangin' his cousin) teams up with singer August Alsina at #50 for "I Don't Get Tired (#IDGT)"...

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel, Kem reigns for a sixth week with "Nobody", while there are no new entries...

Finally, on the Rhythmic format, whose stations include more dance/pop music in their playlists,  Nicki Minaj's "Truffle Butter" moves up to #1...

Jason Derulo returns at #26 with my "Soul Pick of the Week", "Want To Want Me"...

Singer Tinashe enlists Iggy Azalea at #27 for the remix of "All Hands On Deck"...

Trey Songz enters at #32 with "Slow Motion", the fourth track from his Trigga album to make this chart. Two of them, "Na Na", and "Touchin' Lovin" went all the way to #1...

Iggy Azalea's "mentor", T.I., pops in at #33 with "Private Show" feautring Chris Brown...

Omarion winds up at #37 with "Post To Be" also with Chris Brown as well as Jhene Aiko...

I'll be back in 90 with the latest on country radio...
