The top-selling album this week is the second #1 set from Katy Perry, who sells a bit under 300 thousand of Prism in its first week. Her last album, Teenage Dream, sold under 200K in its first week...

Well, last week I heralded in the first of the Christmas albums to make the chart, and this week sees two more holiday debuts. The first at #55 is Italian operatic pop trio Il Volo with Buon Natale: The Christmas Album. Their self-titled debut went to #10 in 2010...

..and at #63 are classical crossover YouTube stars the Piano Guys with A Family Christmas. Their Piano Guys 2 set became their first top-40 album earlier this year...

That does it for this first part....out of these thirteen the three I would recommend first are the Andrea Bocelli, Katy Perry, and AFI albums....

I'll return tomorrow with more from a Irish rock legend with an expanded version of a classic album, a fave of mine goes bravely live, a disco queen gets another mix, and more..
