"Heart & Soul" was a club hit for the studio group Heart & Soul, put together by singer/songwriter/producer Lou Gallo, who wrote, produced, and performed the stand-alone single. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40, the single peaked at #25 in 1976.
