"Love Chant" was a club hit for Eli's Second Coming, a studio group put together by producer Bobbi Eli (aka Philly native Eli Tatarsky). Appearing on the act's sole album Eli's Second Coming, the song was written by Eli with singer Barbara Ingram and keyboardist Ron Kersey.  On Record World magazine's Disco File Top-20, the single spent two weeks at #20 in 1976. It also made Billboard magazine's R&B Singles chart at #88.
