"People Are People" was a club hit for the club act 30 Dirty Junkies. Released as a single overseas, the record is a tribal house cover of the new wave classic from Depeche Mode written by Martin Gore. There's nothing I could find about the act other than the remix was done by Pete Lorimer, leading me to believe that 30 Dirty Junkies may just be one of his recording monikers. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the import single peaked at #6 in 2003.
