twostepcub's music chart for March 10, 2023...
Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 "hit" tunes from the previous week. We have a new #1 with Miley Cyrus, while Stephen Sanchez (pictured above), moves up in the top ten after a long haul on the chart. Songs from Sam Smith, Pink, and Disturbed make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from Lil Nas X, Nickelback, Jazmine Sullivan, Jelly Roll, Rosa Linn, Jax, and Bizarrap/Quevedo drop off my chart. And under the list everything is Spotify playlisted for 5 1/2 hours of the biggest in pop, rock, R&B, country, and dance music. At least it's just a cold!

Along with a re-entry from Cian Ducrot, there are eleven songs making their debut this week (highlighted in blue), and if you click on any of them, you'll connect to that artist's official website for more info on them. And here they are on video, after the break...

The highest debut of the week all the way up at #50 is from Linkin Park, whose lead singer Chester Pennington tragically ended his life back in 2017. An unreleased track from their second album Meteora, which is on the 20th anniversary reissue, "Lost", is now a huge radio hit...
Another iconic group that recently lost a member, Depeche Mode, mourn Andy Fletcher as Martin Gore and David Gahan carry on at #65 with a brand new song, "Ghosts Again"...
Lizzo revamps the title cut from her album Special with SZA, and steps in at #66....
The Dave Matthews Band are back at #67 with "Madman's Eyes" from their upcoming album Walk Around The Moon.
This song was rumored to have been the UK entry for this year's Eurovision Song Contest. It's a shame, because "Weekends" is much better than what they went with. Anyway, Freya Ridings drops in at #88...
EDM duo BONNIE X CLYDE team up with fellow duo FOMO at #92 for their dance radio hit "Need Ya"...
Australian country vet Keith Urban sees his latest single "Brown Eyes Baby" hit the chart at #96...
Joan Jett & The Blackhearts (BTW the act in my first Songoftheday back in 2012) return at #97 with an acoustic take on "Long Time" from their underappreciated 1984 album Glorious Results Of A Misspent Youth...
Rapper Coi Leray rolls the dice at #98 for "Players", which samples Grandmaster Flash's classic "The Message"...
British singer PinkPantheress prowls in at #99 with "Boy's A Liar, Pt. 2" with American rapper Ice Spice...
The final newbie at #100 comes from Jason Derulo, who enlists French club legend David Guetta for "Saturday/Sunday"...
