"Computer Game (Theme From "The Circus")" was a club hit for the Japanese group the Yellow Magic Orchestra. First appearing on their Yellow Magic Orchestra album, the song was an interpolation of Martin Denny's 1959 instrumental "Firecracker" concocted by the group's Harry Hosono, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Yukihiro Takahashi, with Hosono producing. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-100, the single peaked at #42 in 1980, while also climbing to #60 on their pop Hot 100 chart. The original form of the song was used in the video game "The Circus".
