"Pennies From Heaven" was a big club hit for the house music act Inner City. Appearing on their third album Praise, the song was written by the act's Kevin Saunderson and Paris Grey, with Kevin producing. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single spent two weeks at #1 in 1992, while also climbing to #24 on the British Singles chart.
