twostepcub's music chart for December 16, 2022...
Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 "hit" tunes from the previous week. Sam Smith and Kim Petras reign supreme for a third week, while country music newcomer Bailey Zimmerman (pictured above) shoots up into the top five. Songs from Pink, Stephen Sanchez, and Meghan Trainor make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while no former big hits drop out (the biggest, Gorillaz' "Cracker Island", got to #41). And under the list everything is Spotify playlisted for 5 1/2 hours of the biggest in pop, rock, country, and dance music.
This is the last year of my "chart year" for 2022. I'll be rolling out my year-end countdown of the biggest hits from the previous 12 months as soon as I can. There's some surprises in there, even to me...
