"Strict Machine" was a big club hit for British electroclash duo Goldfrapp. Appearing on their second album Black Cherry, the song was produced by the duo's Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory, who both wrote it with Nick Batt. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single spent a week at #1 in 2004. It also climbed to #20 on the British singles chart.
