Soul Sweep: November 15, 2014...

We're at the "hump" of today's "charts sweeps", checking out the songs making the charts in Billboard magazine, and this time out I'm serving up the latest hits on R&B radio...

On the main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart DJ Khaled climbs to #1 with "Hold You Down" featuring Chris Brown, Jeremih, August Alsina, and Future. Khaled previously went to the top on this list in 2011 with "I'm On One"...

The top debut at #27 is Nicki Minaj with "Only" featuring Drake, Lil' Wayne, and Chris Brown. Her last single, "Anaconda", went to #22 and just drops off the chart this week...

Drake also comes in at #45 on his own with "How About Now". It follows "0 To 100/The Catch Up", which peaked at #4 on this list and sits up at #10. (There's no official clip for the song yet....boo!)

Broadway star turned lite-jazz singer Morgan James moves in at #48 with "Call My Name". The single is already in the top-20 on the Adult R&B list...

Usher enters at #49 with "I Don't Mind" featuring Juicy J. Usher appears on four songs on this chart now; his own former #1 "Good Kisser" drops to #16...

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel Sam Smith reigns for a sixth week with "Stay With Me"...

Former Gap Band lead turned quiet storm star Charlie Wilson returns at #28 with "Goodnight Kisses", my "Soul Pick of the Week"...

Lastly, on the Rhythmic radio format, whose stations add more dance/pop music to their playlists, Chris Brown moves to #1 with "New Flame"...

Australian-born rap star Iggy Azalea leaps in at #28 with "Beg For It" featuring Danish singer/songwriter MO. It's the follow-up to "Black Widow", which drops from #1 to #3 this week...

The aforementioned Usher track "I Don't Mind" also enters at #39...

I'll return in 90 with the latest on country radio...
