French Sweep: September 9, 2014...
I'm ready to head back across the Atlantic to check out the songs making their way on to the official singles chart in France this week, as the Robin Schulz remix of Lilly Wood & The Prick's "Prayer In C" spends its eighth week at #1 (the original 2010 version also leaps into the top ten here at #9 this week)...
American rap star Eminem rockets on to the chart at #10 with "Guts Over Fear", his single with Australian singer/songwriter Sia from the movie The Equalizer. It becomes his ninth top-ten hit in this country - he's been to #1 once with "The Monster" last year...

Kendji Girac, the third-season winner of Le Voix (the French version of The Voice), had the top entry on the chart last week...this frame he's in at #22 with "Elle m'a aimé" ("She Loved Me"). (His record company won't apparently let a clip show on YouTube, so fuck'em....)
Australian singer Emma Louise enters at #35 with "Jungle". The Wanklemut remix of this single should be showing up on the top 100 shortly...
British singer/songwriter Benjamin Clementine comes in at #45 with "Glorious You" EP...
Chris Brown returns to the French chart this week with two cuts...first at #63 is X...
...and then at #75 he moves in with "New Flame"...
Brigitte enters the list at #81 with "À Bouche Que Veux-Tu" ("A Mouth that You Want"?), but again there no clip for the US, so whatever, France....
French singer/songwriter Julien Dore' is in at #90 with "Chou Wasabi" featuring Micky Green...
The final new entry of the week at #100 is former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger with "Your Love"....
