This week's "robbed hit" is by the family soul vocal group DeBarge, who 1983 release In A Special Way already had granted them their first #1 R&B hit with "Time Will Reveal". As the follow-up they issued the title track as the next single, written and produced by lead singer and amazing falsetto El DeBarge, with added help from label-mate Stevie Wonder on a sweet harmonica solo....

While the single stalled just under the top-40 on the pop chart, and frustratingly at #11 on the R&B radio list, and #21 on adult-contemporary, nonetheless the song was well-received, and continues to be one of their most timeless tracks.
