It's time to catch up with what's new "down under" as I serve up the records reaching the official music singles chart in Australia, as Katy Perry's "Roar" runs up to #1. This makes the three lead singles from each of her major albums all chart-toppers ("I Kissed A Girl" and "California Gurls" are the others)...

The top entry at #20 is British singer/songwriter/Voice mentor Jessie J with "It's My Party". It's the second single from her upcoming sophomore album Alive; the first, "Wild", went to #6 earlier this year. This one sounds more like the dance fare of "Domino"...

American kid-actress-turned-singer Ariana Grande debuts at #51 with "Right There" featuring rapper Big Sean. It's the third from her debut disc to make the chart in Australia - the first, "The Way" made it to #37...

Enrique Iglesias is back at #54 with his dance jam "Turn The Night Up". He topped this chart in 2001 with "Hero"...

English rockers Arctic Monkeys place the third hit from their AM album on the chart as "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?" enters at #56. It follows "Do I Wanna Know?" which reached the top-40...

American emo-rock group Paramore come in at #62 with "Ain't It Fun". It succeeds "Still Into You", which just went to #5 (their biggest hit) in this country...
